I know not just the most beautiful beaches and greatest waves in the world, but also a rather hard training schedule to keep being the reigning young world and European champion in freestyle windsurfing. The idea is to always follow the wind, even while carrying big equipment. It’s no surprise that I looked for a suitable vehicle for my excursions for a long period. And with the WEINSBERG CaraTour [OUTLAW], I finally discovered what I was seeking. I have been interviewed by Weinsberg on windsurfing’s natural beauty and how much a loving camper van can help me with everyday training.
Professional windsurfers all have enormous vehicles in which they transport all of their gear. You are always on the go as a windsurfer; we literally follow the wind. It’s fantastic to have plenty of storage space as well as a place to sleep so you can travel further and exercise again right away.
Because I’ll be getting my driver’s license in a month, my mother Iris and I began shopping for the ideal automobile for me last year. It shouldn’t be too big, but it should still have a huge back garage, a bathroom with a shower, hot water, and a diesel heater to keep me as gas-free as possible.
The Search was not that easy
Many of the vehicles I’ve seen were bespoke modifications or conversions. However, I desired anything that was ready to purchase. I came upon the [OUTLAW] in a YouTube video at some time. It was a case of “love at first sight!” I’d finally discovered a van that fit all of my criteria straight out of the box, plus it also featured the largest back garage in its class!
I almost struck immediately!
I wanted to test the vehicle in action before buying it and contacted WEINSBERG. They were able to provide me with a [OUTLAW] for competition in Austria. Thank you again!
When I saw [OUTLAW] for the first time, I was hooked. And all my colleagues and surfers on-site were immediately enthusiastic. It is the perfect vehicle for every windsurfer because the onboard garage is more than 2 meters deep – and therefore has enough space to transport the boards without detours or conversions. There is also a bed, a bathroom, a kitchen, everything you need. I spent 6 days in [OUTLAW] with my mother and knew that this would be my van!
Now it is my own Vehicle
We got the option to purchase a [OUTLAW] towards the conclusion of the year, which we took advantage of right away. After that, we built a solar system and a second onboard battery. We are now entirely self-sufficient, and I can train wherever the wind is strongest. This is critical in order to maintain a constant level of performance. My mother and I have a long-standing partnership, but I’m also looking forward to taking command of the [OUTLAW] myself soon!
